Golden Girl

Full-on Gold Skin Effect Tutorial Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQD7tb4oROM n I really liked this tutorial, mostly because it was really fast and I was able to complete it and get a good effect in a very short amount of time. The creator used a screen-mirroring effect to film it, so I was able to follow it very easily. (This was the photo before it was edited).

Low-Poly Photoshop Portrait Tutorial Attempt

This is made using the Low-Poly Geometrical effect in Photoshop. Tutorial Link: https://www.tutorialsjunction.net/index.php/2015/10/09/low-poly-portrait-tutorial-in-photoshop/      This tutorial was pretty helpful, since the steps to this effect are very simple and limited (once you get the hang of it it's very simple to follow). I've always loved this effect for it's simplicity and kind of whimsical-yet-technological appeal, and so I thought it would be cool to learn how to do it to my own photos. I did pretty much achieve what I'd anticipated, and I'm quite satisfied with the end result (despite having incredibly limited experience in Photoshop and effect work). I challenged myself quite a bit because I'm not so great in stuff like Math and Geometry, so I had to be extra-careful with the shapes i used (to make them all fit together nicely). I ended up trying the golden skin tutorial as well as the frost and fire hands. It was really challenging for me, but I'm kind of happy with the end result.
