This tutorial was pretty helpful, since the steps to this effect are very simple and limited (once you get the hang of it it's very simple to follow). I've always loved this effect for it's simplicity and kind of whimsical-yet-technological appeal, and so I thought it would be cool to learn how to do it to my own photos. I did pretty much achieve what I'd anticipated, and I'm quite satisfied with the end result (despite having incredibly limited experience in Photoshop and effect work).
I challenged myself quite a bit because I'm not so great in stuff like Math and Geometry, so I had to be extra-careful with the shapes i used (to make them all fit together nicely). It still needs some work and practice, but I was glad it turned out the way it did in the end.
Overall, I would give myself a mark of 9 out of 10, because I did try my very best to complete this tutorial to the best of my ability, but it still needs some practice to look even better and more professional. Which is mostly why I really want to take computer arts again next year.
Thank you! :)
